For our senior project, we were challenged with constructing a modular micro wind turbine to be used for both residential and commercial use. This micro wind turbine was developed as an affordable, eco-friendly source for electrical energy production. During this three-quarter long project, I worked with a team of four to conceptualize potential solutions, develop and analyze a detailed design, build a functional prototype, and test to verify performance. After designing, developing, and testing our turbine, we delivered the final results and recommended improvements to our project sponsor.
